Located in Caldwell, Idaho, just 30 minutes outside of Boise, our headquarters and manufacturing plants produce quality metal parts used in equipment and buildings worldwide.
The Birth of Rhino Safe Company
In 1999, Don Suggs' father asked him to create a gun safe to keep firearms out of the reach of his grandchildren. Finding nothing affordable and secure in local sporting goods stores, Don researched existing products and developed a tougher, more secure design. This led to a small production run to test the market, resulting in two U.S. patents. Thus, Rhino Safe Company was born.
